What do you do with an overgrown and totally unusable space alongside your house? As well as a request for a low maintenance yard?

This space was totally overgrown and contained invasive plants such as creeping bamboo. An old neglected deck was inaccessible, and access was impossible.

LGHM brought in the excavator and cleared and grubbed the space. We totally removed the existing vegetation, demolished the deck and levelled the site. The east facing space was a sun-trap, perfect for our client to sit and enjoy a coffee and the paper.

LGHM rebuilt the deck in long-lasting merbau with hardwood sub-floor.

Fulfilling the client's low maintenance brief we sprayed out any remaining weeds, installed weed matting and imported lovely white gold stones.

The Japanese Maple was too gorgeous to remove, and finishing touches will be added with some potted plants and a water feature.
